Drake got sued for the first time for promoting a gambling site called Stake.

Lately after Drake ice album failed leaving fans disappointed, Drake has taken another plunge by promoting an illegal(in the state of Misouri where it was promoted) online gambling website bringing him to court with Stake being declared as Drake's defendent.

Drake is not the only one being put in legal action as Adin Ross is also guilty for promoting the illegal gambling website in the federal state of Misouri. Even worse is that they were promoting the gambling site to teenagers in Misouri and other states which is what makes this case very serious. Because of the promoting to teenagers the site was deemed as predatory to teenagers and with the addictive nature of the site, it may seem as Drake and Adin Ross may not have much of a chance of winning the case. According to gamblingharm.org , this is what the lawsuit is saying: "Drake’s role as Stake’s unofficial mascot is quietly corrosive—he’s glamorizing the platform to millions of impressionable fans, many of whom treat his wild betting habits like gospel. What makes it even more unsettling is that Stake apparently fronts Drake and Ross ‘house money,’ so any reported losses are part of a marketing tactic designed to draw attention. Stake’s influencer marketing, especially through Drake and Ross, is directed, among others, at teenagers in Missouri and in other states" source: gamblingharm.org

Not only that but days before the super bowl LVI he posted a 2.5 million dollar bitcoin bet that won bringing stake to a massive audience.
Now this type of lawsuit is the first for drake but not for stake, with all of these other lawsuits all filed in 2025.

Stake is thought to be one of the biggest crypto gambling sites in America with 213 billion dollars in crypto per year
