Australia's ban on social media, how's it going now?

Many of us have seen Australia's ban for kids on social media, but have anyone cared to look back?, no they didn't.
Usually we look at something online and forget about it later with not much attention to many things like what it did to all the other parts of the world and what it did to people's privacy, in this article you will see it all

The start

It's early or mid 2025 we all have used social media some way or another whether it be your own device or someone else's and so we have seen a lot of things: memes, dogs, cats, video games and all the usual suff you forget the moment you scroll away, it's easy to get lost in this rabbit hole quickly and it's because it's so deep you can't stop scrolling
the law was fine with it until 18+ and graphic content came up. Horrible goups were forming causing hate violence and law breaking, The law saw this and had big law changes for these problems. So they have been enforcing guidelines saying things like you must input your age and name but that's it. Children being super smart decide to go around all of this by faking ages,
even adult websites have this faulty verification causing children to be led into or see graphic or inappropriate images, videos or even games. So they needed to fix this

implementation

During late 2025 to early 2026, The topic of online safety becomes common because of the dangerously growing community of cyberbullies making law makers debate about child safety in Australia. While this is happening other countries were looking into child safety with Great Britain(GB) talking about identification requirements for some websites. Many people are against the idea of requiring IDs or having to upload their faces, Particularly the users who are 'paranoid' with memes and animations making fun of age verification. Such as these online internet memes

Current

Currently most websites require Identification of some kind such as: passports, videos of your face, pictures of your face, driver licenses to access website like reddit, X, Roblox, 4chan, most adult websites, Youtube, Tiktok, Snapchat, Discord, and way way more websites but even so children manage to go around these measures and get groomed.
